As a District Manager, you’ll oversee a district which could include up to six stores. After 44 weeks of training, you’ll work hand in hand with your Store Managers to guide and manage operations. This means you’ll be influencing every aspect of the stores in your district — from projecting staff needs and inventory, to long-term planning and motivating your team — all while making a true impact on ALDI’s success, your district’s success and your own success.

Our ALDI District Manager program starts with 44 weeks of training that will do more than introduce you to the role. We’ll immerse you in our culture and values while you gain the tools you’ll need to thrive as a District Manager.

    District Manager Internship Program

    As far as internships go, this one will take you a lot farther.

    Our in-depth, intensive 10-week District Manager Internship program will prepare you for a career as an ALDI District Manager. While working alongside current District Managers and Divisional Directors, you’ll take on real responsibility from day one and be immersed in our successful, dynamic work environment and see what it takes to succeed here. Our internship program provides you with a first hand look at what it takes to be a successful District Manager.

    This internship offers:

    • Overview of day-to-day grocery store operations
    • Insight into all aspects of being a successful District Manager - from staffing and finance to marketing and customer service
    • Opportunity to work directly with the Divisional VP and Directors, present an end of internship project to the team of executives
