Digital Audience Analyst

In this role the Audience Analyst will be responsible for working cross-functionally with internal marketing channels and agency partners to enhance the businesses ability to locate, segment, target and grow audience cohorts. Utilizing expertise in database marketing the Audience Analyst will perform a key role in moving customers from prospect to loyal in both lead generation and retention marketing efforts. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 years of progressive marketing analytics, audience management, acquisition marketing and/or retention marketing experience with proficiency in CDP/CRM technology. Preferred educational background in digital marketing or related field. The objective of this role is to use audiences and segmentation to tactically target and find qualified customers across marketing channels to drive store/site visits and increase sales.

This role is eligible to participate in ALDI’s Hybrid Work Program, which allows remote work up to 3 days per week (i.e., work remotely up to 3 days per week; work in-office at least 2 days per week)

• Recommends process improvements for area of responsibility.
• Uses audiences and segmentation to tactically target and find qualified customers across marketing channels to drive visits and increase sales.
• Defines and manages processes to continually maintain and improve audience data quality and technology usage.
• Takes responsibility for daily activation and grooming of audiences across acquisition and/or retention marketing channels.
• Develops a learning agenda to evangelize audience management best practices.
• Manages all phases of a project life cycle and drives projects to completion, including documenting, communicating, reporting and informing leaders of issues, status and results.
• Prepares executive-level recommendations and requested reports.
• Collaborates with team members and communicates relevant information to leadership.
• Upholds the security and confidentiality of documents and data within area of responsibility.

• A minimum of 4 years of progressive experience in Marketing Analytics, Audience Management, Acquisitions Marking and/ or Retention Marketing required.
• Familiarity with digital audience targeting capabilities, digital advertising ecosystem and CRM onboarding partners (Neustar, LiveRamp, etc.) required.
• Proficiency in audience related technologies including CDP, match partners, ad servers/DSPs/exchanges required.
• Experience working in an agile, project-based environment preferred.
• Experience with Tealium and Salesforce and/or similar CDP/CRM software preferred.
• Hands-on-keyboard experience in a media buying platform (DSP) such as DV360/Trade Desk/Adobe AdCloud or email service provider (ESP) such as Oracle Responsys/Adobe Campaign preferred.
• Or, a combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.
• Regularly required to sit, reach, grasp, stand and move from one area to another.
• Constantly and repeatedly use keyboard/mouse.
• Occasionally required to push, pull, bend, lift and move up to 25 lbs.
