As part of our National Finance & Administration Services department, you’ll help manage the critical resources and infrastructure that keep ALDI running smoothly. Your insights and skills will help every department make smarter decisions and ensure our retail divisions and executive leadership receive the support they need to run a successful operation. Within Finance, our teams include: Accounting, Financial Planning & Analysis, Financial Reporting, Tax and Treasury.

Starting Salary: $80,000
Salary Increases: Year 2 - $85,000 | Year 3 - $90,000

This role is eligible to participate in ALDI’s Hybrid Work Program, which allows remote work up to 3 days per week (i.e., work remotely up to 3 days per week; work in-office at least 2 days per week).
Duties and Responsibilities:
Must be able to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Provides leadership with exception based non-standard reporting as requested to make informed business decisions and manage improvement priorities.
• Develops the ad hoc reporting and proposes and explains to leadership.
• Creates and utilizes data visualization to analyze financial and non-financial trends and provide findings to key stakeholders, especially for ad hoc and non-standard business considerations.
• Researches and analyzes financial statement variances and operational results to understand and be able to explain the story behind the numbers.
• Leverages network of colleagues across teams to achieve operational results.
• Gathers and analyzes data to identify and communicate reporting issues and unusual outliers.
• Organizes large amounts of information and data sets, analyzing historical results (dashboards), making recommendations for process improvements to management reporting, generating excel models, and presentations.
• Assists in research and resolves reconciliation variances in financial statements.
• Analyzes working procedures with the objective to identify best practices.
• Determines and develops the required project deliverables.
• Develops and executes plans for small-scale projects.
• Performs research-based projects and small-scale feasibility studies.
• Assists leadership in implementation and rollouts of large-scale projects.
• Identifies improvements to reporting and analysis processes that require investigation, collaboration, and partnership across all business disciplines.
• Recommends action and provides insight to inform and influence decision making and performance management.
• Conducts complex ad-hoc analyses with elements of uncertainty or risk.

Education and Experience:
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field required.
• A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience required.
• Or, a combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.
Physical Requirements:
• Work may be performed in an office, remote office or a combination of both where a computer and office equipment may be used as needed to perform duties.
• Regularly required to sit, reach, grasp, stand and move from one area to another.
• Constantly and repeatedly use keyboard/mouse.
• Occasionally required to push, pull, bend, lift and move up to 25 lbs.
Travel:
• Minimal travel required as needed for job related duties such as training, project work and administrative tasks.
