Compliance Analyst I

Position Type: Full-TIme
Starting Wage: $31.75 per hour
Wage Increases: Year 2 - $33.25 | Year 3 - $34.75 | Year 4 - $36.25
Work Location: Naperville, IL
This role is eligible to participate in ALDI’s Hybrid Work Program, which allows remote work up to 5 days a week.


Duties and Responsibilities:
Must be able to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Supports the compliance team in creating and implementing compliance policies and procedures.
• Supports evaluating business activities relating to compliance.
• Coordinates resources to ensure the ongoing effectiveness of the compliance program.
• Assists in developing educational programs for all employees, agents, contractors, or others working with the organization.
• Assists in ensuring that internal controls are capable of preventing and detecting significant instances or patterns of illegal, unethical, or improper conduct by employees, agents, contractors, or others working with the organization.
• Tracks all issues referred to the Legal & Compliance team.
• Supports the administration of the AlertLine hotline and website, including triaging reports and serving as company liaison with the AlertLine vendor.
• Assists in developing and compiling periodic and annual reports on the compliance program to company leadership and International (IFA).
• Develops productive working relationships with all levels of management.
• Identifies gaps and recommends enhancements to reduce and eliminate compliance risk.
• Assists in detecting violations of law, regulations, organizational policies and the code of conduct, while promoting an ethical corporate culture.
• Works with and responds in a timely manner to company leadership regarding compliance-related inquiries.
• Reviews and analyzes general legal documentation and compliance requirements.
• Collaborates with team members and communicates relevant information to direct leader.
• Upholds the security and confidentiality of documents and data within area of responsibility.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:
• Bachelor's Degree required.
• A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience required.
• Or, a combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.
Physical Requirements:
• Work may be performed in an office, remote office or a combination of both where a computer and office equipment may be used as needed to perform duties.
• Regularly required to sit, reach, grasp, stand and move from one area to another.
• Constantly and repeatedly use keyboard/mouse.
• Occasionally required to push, pull, bend, lift and move up to 25.
Travel:

• Minimal travel required as needed for job related duties such as training, project work and administrative tasks.
